A part of Ocean Conservancy’s Florida Conservation team, the Florida Conservation Partnerships Manager will play an essential role in expanding Ocean Conservancy’s presence in South Florida and statewide, underscoring the organization’s reputation in the region as a trusted voice in marine conservation. Primary areas of responsibility include managing Ocean Conservancy’s partnerships and partnership activities across the state, including formal partnerships with municipalities and local governments; identifying and pursuing new potential conservation partnerships; building Ocean Conservancy’s brand and reputation in South Florida and across the state, including in Latin(x) communities; and developing and fostering relationships within the South Florida marine conservation stakeholder communities, including environmental non-profits, angling groups, diving groups, and the like. The Manager will report to the Senior Manager and Policy Counsel for Florida Conservation, but may also support others involved with the Florida Conservation team, including development, communications, and cross-programmatic work. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION/TRAINING College degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience working for an environmental non-profit preferred.
