Fisheries Research Intern

The Department of Research & Standards within Global Footprint Network strives towards the continuous improvement of the science of the Ecological Footprint and develops projects rigorously grounded in its methodology.

 

We are seeking an intern to conduct research and refine methodology in our fisheries analysis. Course work or experience in fisheries modeling, population/community ecology, aquaculture, and/or fisheries management would be preferred. Key skills required include excellent writing, research and time management; strong quantitative abilities; solid computer skills and intermediate to advanced Excel capability. Applicants should have a good grasp of the concept of sustainability and its current applications. An understanding of basic statistics is very useful.

 

Interns will work closely with several staff members in Research & Standards.....
