The Financial Analyst position is responsible for all aspects of internal reporting and budgeting. This position is the primary financial liaison with program staff, and will assist program staff with their financial needs. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Review non administrative monthly internal financial statements. Research & respond to program staff inquires regarding internal financial statements. Prepare all journal entries for reclassifications of revenue and expenses related to program financial statements. Assist Resource Development and Program staff in their preparation of grant proposal budgets. Track progress on programs with restricted funds. Prepare financial reports for grant reporting and perform draw downs as necessary. Assist in planning, preparation and review of annual organization budgets. Assist Resource Development and Program staff with budget re-projections. Assist in any ad hoc reporting as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years of recent relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. (a Bachelor’s in Finance or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting can substitute for the BS in Accounting). Great Plains & FRX experience a strong plus. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and solid communication and organization skills; and be deadline oriented a must.
