Description
Are you passionate about environmental education? If so, we are looking for enthusiastic, inspiring and committed environmental educators to join our dedicated education team at Rainham Marshes, to help to 'continue to expand our education programme on this unique urban reserve'. You will be delivering outdoor, hands-on, engaging curriculum-linked education sessions for Primary and Secondary schools, combined with outreach visits to local schools. You will need to demonstrate that you are an excellent communicator and have previous teaching experience (particularly teaching outdoors), or experience of working with children of all ages and abilities. Some knowledge and experience of natural history in general, ecology, habitat types, conservation and ornithology would be desirable. We are asking for a passion for the natural world, a high degree of flexibility and creativity along with excellent communication skills.
