PURPOSE OF THE POST UKCEH are looking for eighteen experienced field surveyors to work on large-scale, long-term field studies to assess change in the British Countryside. The role demands a high level of flexibility regarding location as surveyors will be expected to travel throughout Wales and/or wider Great Britain for the duration of the contract. Initial appointments will be from April 2020 for a period up to 5 months. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE The basic working week will be 37 hours. However, the role demands a high level of flexibility regarding location as surveyors will be expected to travel throughout Great Britain for the duration of the contract. The surveyors appointed will work in teams of two. Twelve of the posts will be located exclusively in Wales and four more widely across Great Britain. The posts will be managed by the field survey management team at CEH Bangor. This role is a Short Term Appointment of five months (April 2020 – September 2020) Offers of appointment are subject to proof of permission to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 and original documentary evidence will be required.
