This project accepts approximately 6 volunteer field assistants per year to work as part of its research program on social learning and behavioural ecology in wild capuchin monkeys. Prior field experience and/or work with primates are desirable but not required. Because of the training process the project only accepts volunteers who are willing to work for a minimum of 12 months.
Volunteers are provided with room and board and (sometimes) a very small stipend that should be sufficient to cover their living expenses. Transportation costs to the field site from the volunteer's home country may be reimbursed following the successful completion of a one year appointment.
