This wildlife rescue centre in the Bolivian Amazon is looking for a long-term volunteer to oversee the process of giving a second chance to felines rescued from illegal trafficking and reintegration into the wild. The role requires autonomy and organisation in carrying out the daily routine, which involves cleaning, preparing food, checking the animals and overseeing the work of general volunteers. The main goal is that the animals receive the best possible care and attention in the most efficient way possible.
The feline coordinator receives free accommodation and meals and 1000 Bolivianos monthly (US$150).
A full project description is provided on the Volunteer Abroad section of the VLA website.
