Experienced Solar Project Developer, USA

My client develops large scale PV plants along the west coast of USA. They are now looking to expand their business and are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join their organisation and add value to the business from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Will be conducting market analysis and feasibility and risk assessment studies on a daily basis
• Negotiation and acquisition of lease agreements and securing grid connections and building permits
• Proactively sourcing new investors and projects to grow the business
• Will be managing multiple projects simultaneously to strict deadlines and to above satisfactory standards.
• Liaise with senior management in assessing what direction to take the company
• Will be reporting regularly to the managing director about progress
• Assessing profitability of projects and successful development including the preparation of land for construction.

Requirements:

• Will have 4-5 years experience in the development of solar PV plants.
• Degree in environmental planning, civil engineering, engineering or equivalent qualification of relevance.
• Must be result orientated and passionate about success and growing the company
• Must have good presentation and interpersonal skills
