Experienced Solar Business Development Candidate, Italy

My client is a leading European manufacturer and provider of solar PV modules and solar mounting systems. They are currently looking for an experienced solar business development candidate to join their team and to help break into and develop the Italian market.

Responsibilities:

• You will be charged with exploring and developing the solar PV market in Italy
• Proactively canvass new prospects and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar products
• Analyzing the clients’ needs and developing proposals to fit their criteria
• Negotiating terms and closing deals
• Liaising with third party contractors to ensure projects are permitted and carried out in accordance with proposals

• Develop strategic corporate account plans and lead plan implementation across divisions

Requirements:

• Must have an extensive and proven track record in business development and breaking into new markets
• Will be fluent in English, German and Italian
• Will have 2-3 years experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry
• Must have an existing list of contacts within the market
• Local knowledge is preferable
• Must be willing to travel
