Experience Sustainability Reporting Manager, Southeast England

My client is leading consultancy working in a variety of markets offering bespoke business solutions. They are looking to hire an experienced reporting manager to join their internal to manage the reporting process for the firm in relation to the company’s sustainability strategies. The ideal candidate will be well versed in corporate reporting so will have a very good understanding of the elements that affect the overall long and short term sustainability of a firm. This is a leadership role so the ideal candidate will be able to impact their knowledge onto junior staff members as well as the leaders of the business as a whole to ensure the overall compliance of the sustainability strategy in the company. My client is keen to see candidates with a proven track record in coordinating successful CSR (corporate social responsibility) strategies, particularly with regards to the firm’s sustainability.

This role will suit an individual with extensive knowledge in sustainability and corporate reporting who is seeking career progression and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Managing the research process required to construct a useful sustainability report for the firm
• Extensively work with the leaders of the business to see how factors such as remuneration and internal drivers affect the firm’s ability to remain environmentally sustainable
• Examine the external drivers of the firm to get a better understanding of how these affect the sustainability of the firm – impact this knowledge to the leading business developers in the firm to ensure their compliance
• Using the information gathered in the researching process to strategies around the risks to the long term sustainability of the firm.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in sustainability
• 3+ years corporate responsibility experience is vital
• Extensive and proven leadership skills
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
