About the Job

As an Executive Assistant at Opower, you will support and assist the President of a rapidly growing software company. You will coordinate and manage rapidly changing schedules, handle complicated travel arrangements, and manage a high volume of inbound and outbound communications. You will be expected to perform complex administrative tasks, often multi-tasking. You must demonstrate a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, high energy,obsessive organizational skills, and an excellent sense of humor.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling meetings, interviews, and speaking arrangements; making complex travel arrangements.
  • Maintaining information, meeting minutes, doing data entry, and logging expenses
  • Managing, building, and maintaining contact databases
  • Handling research projects, organizing, and filing for the President
  • Preparing correspondence and documents for printing and mailing
  • Reaching out to people on behalf of the President
  • Maintaining awareness of the President's duties, so as to be able to effectively schedule the President's appointments

About You

  • You have 1-5 years of experience supporting senior-level executives in a fast paced environment
  • You are proactive, exceptionally organized, and very high horsepower
  • You communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • You exhibit strong process-oriented skills, attention to detail, and follow-through, striving to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or results
  • You have the ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • You have strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • You exhibit professionalism, poise, enthusiasm, courtesy, and strong interpersonal skills
  • You have a Bachelor's degree
  • You are resourceful, self, motivated, and a pleasure to be around
