To lead on the creation and management of the Carbon Trust’s B2B events programme in the context of the overall Group’s marketing and communications plan. To lead on the development and delivery of the Carbon Trust’s B2B sponsorship programme in the context of the overall plan – securing sponsorship for Carbon Trust events and other properties in the context of protecting the brand. Leading the development an in-house Carbon Trust capability to gain sponsorship and funding opportunities for its own events programme and other properties both at a Group and business area level – managing the brand and fundraising risks and opportunities. Development of targeted third party event activity (speaker, sponsorship and exhibition opportunities) and ongoing management and development of the Carbon Trust speaker programme. Designing and implementing event strategies to support of the overall marketing and communications objectives whilst supporting the various business offerings. Ensuring cost effectiveness and customer value are a priority across all event activities.
