My client is part of a global organisation specialising in providing monitoring systems and specialist instrumentation into the global oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.  Due to exponential growth across Europe they are now looking for a European Sales Manager to join their team.

Position Overview:
The European Sales Manager will be responsible for selling technical solutions to businesses across Europe, you will provide sound technical advice to clients in order to sell a solution that best suits their needs. In addition to this you will also manage existing clients to ensure high levels of service are met.  This role requires a high degree of travel across Europe.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Identify new clients within the European Market
  • ·         Promote and sell relevant products
  • ·         Provide after sales support to existing accounts
  • ·         Provide detailed instructions to the project team
  • ·         Maximise revenue through new orders as well as up selling on existing accounts

Education:-

  • ·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related education or training, or Business Administration or equivalent job experience necessary

Core Requirements:-

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience selling instrumentation products into the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors
  • A strong track record of sales success in the relevant industry sector
  • ·         A strong understanding of technical instrumentation systems

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Key Skills:-

  • Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Business Development or Sales Experience, solution sales, knowledge of instrumentation products
