Our client is a leading consultancy providing energy and carbon advisory and transaction management services to a number of public and private sector clients.
Due to a recent success in the UK, the company is expanding its operations into Western Europe. As a result there is a requirement for an Energy Buyer to join the team based in London.
Main responsibilities will include:
-establishing and delivering firm’s new service of supply contract negotiation; -Continental European gas and power market analysis; -assisting in setting the strategy for the new business unit; -responsible for establishing relationships with major suppliers in the Western European markets.
The ideal candidate is expected to have 2-3 years of experience in energy supply contract procurement and negotiation in the Continental European markets. You will also have a proven experience in building and managing relationships, networking, ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Fluency of one other European language in addition to English is an advantage.
