My client  is a leading solar photovoltaic(PV) manufacturer and over a number of years built up a strong track record in the manufacturering of both mono and poly crystalline silicon and thin-film solar photovoltaic(PV) modules. They are looking to recruit a senior individual to oversee their entire  sales operation in Europe.

 

Responsibilities:-

 

  • Open up new markets and sign major contracts
  • Define price strategy for current and new products and help meet the corporate target gross margins
  • Serve as primary contact to key accounts
  • Manage executive level relationships with customer and drive sales within accounts
  • Develop strategic corporate account plans and lead plan implementation across divisions
  • Identify market potential; initiate sales process; close sales; expand sales in new and existing accounts; contribute information to market strategy and recommend new products and services
  • Negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Manage and recruit strategic partners, generate revenue from and maintaining senior management relationships with key distributors, system integrators and dealers
  • Launch  and market development of solar module products
  • Analysing the clients needs and developing proposals to fit their criteria
  • Discuss different options and explain the benefits of solar modules
  • Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar products / projects
  • Define and set up the strategic growth of the country and  guarantee the economic performance of the business units

 

Requirements:-

 

  • You will have at least 5 years of solar photovoltaic(PV) modules sales experience, with an excellent track record
  • Must have strong educational background (Business Studies or similar dicispline, makreting or economics, MBA would be desirable)
  • Excellent distributional channels within Germany and international markets
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing solar modules
