My client is reputable manufacturer of solar PV (photovoltaic) modules and have been very succesful in manufacturing both thin film and crystalline silicon (mono and poly) modules. They are currently looking to fill a position for a Sales Director to look after and coordinate all of the sales for the entire European market.
This in an excellent opportunity for an individual with an excellent track record in solar panel sales to take a pioneering position within a well founded and successful company.

CORE CRITERIA My client is seeking a Director of Sales to look after the sales efforts across Europe.
Responsibilities:-
- Open up new markets and sign major contracts
- Define price strategy for current and new products and help meet the corporate target gross margins
- Serve as primary contact to key accounts
- Manage executive level relationships with customer and drive sales within accounts
- Develop strategic corporate account plans and lead plan implementation across divisions
- Define and set up the strategic growth of the country and guarantee the economic performance of the business units
- Identify market potential; initiate sales process; close sales; expand sales in new and existing accounts; contribute information to market strategy and recommend new products and services
- Negotiating terms and closing deals
- Manage and recruit strategic partners, generate revenue from and maintaining senior management relationships with key distributors, system integrators and dealers
- Launch and market development of solar module products
- Analysing the clients needs and developing proposals to fit their criteria
- Discuss different options and explain the benefits of solar modules
- Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar products / projects

Requirements:-
- You will have at least 5 years of solar photovoltaic(PV) modules sales experience, with an excellent track record
- Must have strong educational background (Business Studies or similar dicispline, makreting or economics, MBA would be desirable)
- Excellent distributional channels within the European and international markets
- European language skills are an advantage
- Experience in leading a team
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing solar modules
