ERP Project Manager

The candidate will performs a variety of tasks related to managing the implementation of ERP. This person will work with project stakeholders to ensure that projects successfully meet their scope/quality goals and are implemented on time. The project manager will coordinate all project activities from statements of work through requirements definition, development, quality assurance, delivery, and implementation.

This position requires management of multiple projects, tracking deliverables, and ensuring agreed timelines are achieved on each project. To achieve this, the successful candidate will need extensive experience managing project teams, planning deliverables & milestones, allocating resources according to required tasks and deadlines, producing status reports, along with all other typical project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting kick-off and weekly project meetings to communicate individual roles and project deliverables, ensuring that the project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.
• Provide operational direction for planning, designing, developing and implementing the organizations ERP application.
• Utilize a rigorous process of defining client requirements and project specifications.
• Defining purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of success.
• Assist Finance with respect to the scheduling, completion and status reporting of all ERP-related project activities.
• Monitoring of projects, issue management processes and escalating issues where necessary.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of outside ERP vendors and consultants to ensure that they are being used effectively.
• Evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process and taking corrective action as necessary.
• Leading the post-implementation review evaluating project results, including customer satisfaction.
• Working with team to ensure thorough testing of modules/application/interfaces.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 8-10 + years experience in project management; of which at least 3 years of experience in managing software projects of significant scale and complexity including multiple sub-teams and at least 2 years of experience with implementation of 3rd party products
• Proven project management on technical projects using project management best practices.
• BS., Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a Corporate IT department and working with cross functional teams within a company
• Experience or background in Requirements Analysis and/or Consulting (desired)
