Environmental Reclamation Sales Manager, South East, UK

My client  is a leading  environmental company with a proven record in efficiently organizing and managing the recovery of industrial waste, contaminated land remediation and water treatment and purification.They are currently looking to expand their operations and as such are looking to recruit an environmental reclamation sales manager.

Responsibilities:-

• Acquire orders and generate revenue under a budget established and rewarded on an annual basis
• Research project opportunities in the assigned area
• Together with field technical personnel prepare tenders and quotations, manage presentations, negotiations and contracts
• Together with field technical personnel decide upon remediation technologies utilizing your environmental and chemical knowledge.
• Responsible for making remediation projects, talk to private and public companies with pollution problems.
• Responsible for proactively chasing leads and acquiring clients, that require remediation services and the technical  back office team get to work on it.

Requirements:-

• Must have technical background in oil, construction or environmental remediation. You will be required to have a open mind as you will look at things from all angles
• You will need Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering
• At least 5-7 years work experience
• Strong technical background in the environmental industry
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and commercial skills, flexibility, ability to perform technical and economical analysis of remediation work
• Ability to plan and organise activities within a specific schedule, willingness to work on site (surveys, inspections, supervision of works, etc)
• Willingness to travel frequently.
