Environmental Engineer / Officer

Waste management is a rapidly evolving and varied area requiring thinking about waste avoidance and minimisation, wider recycling, community involvement and protection of the environment. This role requires someone who is passionate about the environment and who has previous experience in implementing waste minimisation strategies. You will be able to demonstrate creative thinking to encourage Waste reduction and recycling.  Working closely with Council’s landfill and transfer stations this role will be also manage Council’s EPA compliance and take a lead role in overall waste management.
