My client is an integrated design and engineering consultancy and a leading global provider of construction and technical services worldwide. They have an exciting portfolio of exciting projects and candidates, and are looking for an Environmental Economist to assist with their future projects and continued expansion.

Position Overview:

My client is seeking an Environmental Economist to join their team and contribute to analysis and assessment of current and future projects.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Analysing the economic impacts of changes in legislation
• ·         Provide quantitative assessments of health and environmental impacts associated with policy change
• ·         Helping to manage the CDM/VDR Project cycle
• ·         Provide analysis and assessment of current and future projects

Education:-

• ·         A degree, masters of PhD in economics or a related field of study

Core Requirements:-

• At least two years experience working within the carbon market

• ·         Excellent spreadsheet skills
• ·         Proven experience in quantitative assessment and monetary valuation
• ·         Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• ·         Candidates must have relevant work experience with a proven track record
• ·         Excellent understanding of statistics
