My client is a globally recognised consultancy company that works throughout the world in the renewable energy sector. They are focused the managing, development and engineering area of renewable energy projects providing support for developers. They are currently looking to develop their team in the UK to take advantage of the opportunities that the UK currently has in the renewable energy sector.
Core Criteria: My client is looking for an experience environmental consultant who has exceptional experience working on EIA (environmental impact assessment)
Key Responsibilities
- · Working the full cycle of the thermal process including preparation and report writing of potential bid following on with the development and management of the project
- · You will work on a variety of projects including sustainability, power stations, transportation and renewable energy projects
- · Carry out due diligence audits and present results to relevant managers
- · Understanding of the environmental actions required for the project and the ways that the developer will be able to overcome any obstacles that could potentially occur
- · Analyze the environmental surveys undertaken for each project and reporting to senior project managers
- · Work with clients and other renewable energy project managers in order to get the best results in terms of the renewable energy project production
- · Coordination of EIA (environmental impact assessment) and SIA (Social impact assessment) functions.
Education:-
BSc (Hons) minimum in science based degree or equivalent environmental related degree
Core Requirements:-
- · 1-5 Experience working as a consultant on environmental and / or renewable energy projects
- · Excellent knowledge of the legal requirements and regulations of the environmental projects
- · Working within a strict budget and important deadlines throughout the entire renewable energy project life cycle
- · Specific experience in either: biomass, wind farms or hydroelectricity, water quality, ecology, hydrology, land contamination, health and safety, noise or air quality is advantages

- · Excellent communication and report writing skills
- · Ability to travel with the UK
- · A strong desire to work to the highest quality and standards in order to maintain the reputation of the company
- · Highly organised with a proven ability to project manage where necessary
- · A strong scientific background and skill set
