Due to our sustained growth in western and northern Canada we now recruiting for (EA) Environmental Assessment Planners to support our existing activities and to grow our capacity to serve clients in these areas. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative nation-wide team focused on delivery of superior services to our clients.
Based in Burnaby, you will lead a dynamic environmental sciences team focused on the delivery of EIAs for our clients in the mining and petroleum sectors. The successful candidate must have an ability to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary, geographically disperse teams and to establish project-specific environmental assessment processes. This is a challenging senior position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth.
Qualifications:
M.Sc. with background in the natural, earth or social sciences, environmental design, or comparable area of study.
Three to Five years experience in an EIA capacity.
Assets for this position include strategic thinking; project coordination; knowledge of the regulatory processes; excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to supervise, train and mentor junior staff.
