Environmental Advisor

As one of the nations largest technology research and development facilities, our client is a scientific and engineering expert. It is now looking for an Environmental Advisor to support the environmental services.
You will help maintain and develop the company environmental management system, and provide expert advice on risk management and best practice. Along with your specialist area you will provide awareness and training to a high standard across the board. You will lead a variety of matters, anything from energy and transport use, to heritage and chemical waste. You will provide a first class assurance service to make sure the teams are safe, up-to-date, clear and confident about tackling environmental issues.
You will have experience and knowledge of UK legislation, and be up-to-date with ISO14001 regulations. Experience in either the Radioactive Substances Act 1993 or Environmental Permitting (PPC) would be an advantage. This company offers a competitive salary and a superb benefits package.
