This is a new, pivotal, role that will work with BirdLife Australia teams to ensure that the BirdLife supporter journey motivates and inspires all supporters, donors, volunteers and members to take action. You will drive engagement strategy and campaigns to build a broad supporter base – engaging, organising and mobilising supporters to realise life-long value. You are in a similar role in a NFP, a conservation organisation or with commercial direct marketing/engagement experience You are passionate about supporter engagement and experienced in developing successful data driven direct marketing and engagement outcomes. You are creative, analytic and strategic, a great motivator and team player and you have significant experience in creating and driving supporter pathways. A passion for quality, data driven direct marketing and engagement will be essential. With native birds declining more quickly than any other species in the animal kingdom and over 230 Australian species and subspecies already extinct, threatened with extinction or near threatened, the time to stop extinctions is now. BirdLife Australia is a science-based, community lead conservation organisation, with more than 110,000 Australian supporters and over 200 BirdLife partners internationally. For over 100 years BirdLife Australia has lead the conservation of Australia’s birds and their habitats through science-based research, practical action and independent advice. BirdLife Australia relies on a growing network of people who generously give their time, expertise, voice and financial support.
