Description |
WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER Housed within The Nature Conservancy’s Resilient Watersheds Strategy, the Nature for Water Facility (‘N4W’) is a technical assistance platform that provides hand-in-hand support to local champions seeking to develop watershed investment programs. N4W has supported more than 40 place-based engagements globally from 2022-2024, via a mixture of pro-bono and fee-for-service partnerships. For additional background on the program please see the About, Services, and Portfolio sections of the N4W website. N4W is embarking on the next phase of its growth, which will run until 2030. A key part of this is an increase in its work in the Asia Pacific region (‘AP’). In partnership with a Science Manager, the Engagement Manager is responsible for the overall success of place-based projects undertaken by N4W. The Engagement Manager also leads all commercial, economic, stakeholder, and governance analysis related to watershed investment programs. A high degree of independence and leadership is expected from this role, which includes ample near-term growth opportunities for motivated candidates joining this dynamic team. In particular, the successful candidate will play an important role in client management, business development, and N4W’s expected team growth in AP. The Engagement Manager position directly reports to the N4W Senior Engagement Manager and will also work closely with senior leadership within TNC AP. The position is full-time, fully remote, and is available in Australia, Singapore (through our local office), and Indonesia (through our local partner). This role is offered as a 24-month contract, with the opportunity to renew if both TNC and the successful candidate agree. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
