BirdLife is looking for someone who ‘gets’ birds and birders and has the skills and imagination to make fresh connections and grow established ones. This is an exciting new position for a dynamic birder with a great understanding of the birding community, a track record in data collection and management, a competent grasp on digital technology, a drive for bird conservation and a natural gift to connect with people. The ideal candidate would be equally at home with supporting Citizen Scientists in their conservation work and contributing to the development and implementation of a Science and Conservation technology roadmap. This role ensures that the valuable data BirdLife citizen scientists, partners in government, NGO, science and the Indigenous community collect can shine for conservation. YOU WILL DO THIS BY:
STATUS AND REMUNERATION:This is a full-time position offered on a 3-year contract. This position is based at the BirdLife Australia’s National Office, Carlton, Melbourne. Salary starting at $79,800 per annum plus 10% Superannuation.
