Description

We are on the lookout for an Engagement Campaigns Coordinator to join our team full-time. In this role, you will use digital technologies and data-driven insights to drive the highest standards of supporter experience across BirdLife Australia’s marketing activities.

You will be responsible for recruiting and on-boarding new supporters, ensuring that BirdLife supporters, donors, members and volunteers are welcomed and engaged with the organisation. We do this primarily through developing and delivering digital promotional campaigns and related marketing events and activities.

Your core duties will cover the following themes:

  • Supporter Growth and Onboarding
  • Aussie Bird Count Coordinator

YOU WILL DO THIS BY

  • Developing and planning our annual Aussie Bird Count event
  • Working closely with all supporter-dependent functions, from fundraising, volunteering, campaigning to bird surveying and membership, you will ultimately lead increased supporter growth, lifetime value and engagement outcomes
  • Developing and implementing new audience growth campaigns and new supporter pathways
  • Integrating BirdLife community-based programs, events and opportunities into supporter recruitment campaigns in line with our strategic participation goals
  • Tracking, measuring and refining supporter acquisition using our marketing automation platform to drive effective supporter recruitment pathways throughout the year

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

Our ideal candidate will have qualifications in Marketing or Event Management and previous experience working in engagement, direct marketing or promotional campaigns. You will also have previous experience in planning, implementing and evaluating marketing events and/or campaigns.

This role requires the flexibility to adapt to a changing workload across the year utilising excellent prioritisation and time management skills. This would suit someone with a keen eye for detail with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be required to effectively engage and work alongside various members of the executive team and the overall organisation. You will be an effective communicator with strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
