POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT Energy Services Marketing Representative The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) is seeking a full-time Marketing Representative for our Energy Services Project. The position will be responsible for developing new sales and marketing of NCAT’s energy services project in the Helena, Great Falls, and Hi-Line area. You will work closely with the Energy Services Marketing and Business Development Director and other project staff. To succeed in the position you will need to be self-motivated, well-organized and able to work independently as well as with others. You should be an excellent communicator with experience in writing, presentations and public speaking. QUALIFICATIONS: The position requires the equivalent of a degree in Marketing, Business Management, Engineering Sales, Market Analysis or a related field. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, business development, and an interest in building technologies. A demonstrated interest and knowledge in promoting energy efficiency is required. Experience in energy systems, computer spreadsheets, and/or computer energy performance simulation is desired. Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly are very important in this position. A high level of computer literacy is required including use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This position may be located in a home office and is required to regularly report to the organization’s office in Butte for trainings and meetings. Travel is required and you must have your own transportation. RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALARY AND BENEFITS: $25,000 - $40,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits include paid vacation and holidays, health, life and disability insurance, a cafeteria and 401(k) plan and a pleasant.
