We have an opportunity for an Energy Saving Scotland Network Support Officer based in Scotland on a permanent basis. Working with the Advice Network Manager Scotland, and the Assistant Advice Network Manager Scotland, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Energy Saving Scotland Advice Centres (ESSacs).

The main responsibilities of this role include:

· Assisting in ensuring the ESSacs are operating efficiently;

· Regularly updating the EST¿s internal monitoring systems to ensue they contain accurate information relating to the ESSacs;

· Managing and administering the pool of consultants delivering the in-depth reviews for smaller businesses on behalf of the ESSacs to ensure the reviews are delivered effectively;

· Assisting in ensuring effective communication is maintained with the London team in relation to support and administration of the ESSacs;

· Ensuring the capacity of the advice centres is enhanced through the management of a co-ordinated training programme;

To be successful in this role you will need:

· Demonstrable track record of delivering results at an operational level in the sustainable energy sector.

· Demonstrable ability to manage and support delivery through contractual relationships

· Strong relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to interact at all levels.

· An understanding of the issues involved in promoting sustainable energy to the public and businesses

· Strong customer focus applied to both householders, businesses and other stakeholders.

· Good financial and commercial acumen.

· Ability to support change in a complex, multi stakeholder environment.
