Energy Efficiency Engineer, Germany

My client is currently looking for an experienced Energy Efficiency Engineer to join their team in Germany.

My client is looking for an experienced Energy efficiency engineer who will be a brand ambassador to my client and will generate new business by assessing building efficiencies and promoting products and services. You will adopt a consultative approach and be expected to conduct efficiency calculations and be able to advise clients as to ways in which they can improve their efficiencies. My client offers exceptional opportunities for growth  and this is an exciting opportunity for an energy efficiency engineer to work with one of the market leaders in the field.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Calculate and assess energy savings of commercial buildings
• ·         Analyze the impact of lighting changes on other facility systems
• ·         Prepare customer proposal development and formal presentations
• ·         Complete energy balance for a potential project, and then undertake calculations of savings that will result from retrofitting the existing configuration
• ·         Negotiate the Lighting and LV specific part of contracts in English
• ·         Work with sales, project management and performance assurance teams effectively

Core Requirements:

• ·         Strong knowledge of basic engineering principles and calculations
• ·         Must understand the contractual aspects of Energy projects
• ·         Will have an understanding of the financial cash flow analysis and contract models
• ·         Have existing knowledge manufacturers construction types, levels of efficiency and their analysis and application
• ·         Understand and undertake energy savings calculates in the context of Lighting and its usage and LV installations
• ·         Must be fluent in English and German

General Requirements:

• ·         Must be willing to relocate to German
• ·         Additional European languages are a plus
