As the Energy Efficiency Coordinator you will play a key role in managing our suite of energy efficiency recommendations to help consumers make smart choices about their energy use. You'll develop, customize and configure energy efficiency tips within our content management system and play a key role in building internal expertise in residential energy efficiency. As we work with a growing set of utilities, your contributions will directly impact our paper and web products.

This is the ideal job for a highly organized individual who also thrives in a dynamic environment where rules and processes are continuously evolving. The position offers a proactive self-starter the chance to lead process improvements and collaborate with technical and non-technical partners. Be prepared to work hard and have fun.

Responsibilities

  • Manage libraries of content and marketing materials across our clients. Configure and organize content within our content management system, and ensure its accurate presentation in our products. This work will require light html coding. No prior experience required, however interest in mastering our content management tools is a must.
  • Develop, customize and edit energy efficiency tips for clients. Prepare polished client-facing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with client managers to manage the content review process.
  • Ensure published information is technically correct, communicated effectively, and targeted appropriately.
  • Over time, 'own' the content management tools: become the internal expert on features and functionality; take charge of documentation; train new employees on the system. As the types and amount of content handled grows, drive improvements to tools and processes.
  • Independently research and develop new energy efficiency content.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop and test innovation ideas.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics.

About you
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented and efficient.
  • You have a bachelor's degree from a top school.
  • You use software tools to organize, improve process and deliver consistent results, and you are able to quickly learn new tools. Experience with Excel a must; experience with content management tools and database skills a plus.
  • You have a passion for energy efficiency. Experience or coursework on the topic is a plus.
  • You are an effective writer with strong editing skills.
  • You are interested in the science behind why people behave the way they do and eager to test behavioral science concepts in our products.
  • You collaborate equally well with technical and non-technical teams.
  • You work well in an informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for delivering results is set high.
