Responsibilities:
  • Manages multiple procedures regarding Clean Energy Works Oregon (CEWO) program ensuring projects meet CEWO guidelines including:
    • Customer Service – ensures that homeowner is clear on the program offerings as they pertain to processes, roles, and resources for support.
    • Quality
      • Ensures that contractor-gathered diagnostic data is accurate and recorded. 
      • Ensures that weatherization, and health and safety items are appropriately addressed in scope of work.
      • Ensures that weatherization, and health and safety items are installed per BPI and Energy Trust of Oregon weatherization specifications.
      •  Energy Savings – Ensures that modeled energy savings for the proposed scope of work meet the CEWO guidelines for a conforming bid.
      • Financing – Ensure that proposed scope of work meets the CEWO guidelines for a conforming bid.
      • Conduct home energy evaluations/assessments which will require entering residential attics, basements and crawl spaces; climbing ladders; interacting with homeowners; and generating a computerized report to the customer. CSG will provide equipment and training. Home energy evaluations include:
        • Determining insulation levels in both attics and walls;
        • Visual checks of age and condition of HVAC equipment and ducts;
        • Visual checks of windows and weather-stripping;
        • Verify blower door and duct blaster diagnostic tests performed by CEWO contractors.
        • Completing an energy use data collection form to capture home data;
        • Data entry into data base and computer modeling software.
        • Encourage homeowners to undertake specific energy saving measures recommended based on the home energy evaluation.
        • Realize increased savings and production goals.
        • Review and explain energy modeling output to homeowners.
        • Explain incentives and/or loans, and tax credits for energy efficiency improvements that may be available.
        • Educate customers on other Energy Trust of Oregon efficiency programs.
        • Support other regional CSG program needs as time allows and/or requires.
Qualifications:
  • BPI certification including, building analyst, envelope specialist, and heating specialist preferred (preferably all three). BPI certification is a plus. Ability to achieve BPI Certification within 3 months of start date is required.
  • Strong leadership skills and mentorship capabilities.
  • Skilled in MS Office tools, and has the ability to learn our proprietary software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Very good interpersonal, reporting, sales, analytical, writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (preferably in an integrated program)
  • Ability to assist in effectively resolving sensitive customer issues and complaints.
  • Exercises good judgment in resolving issues.  Includes Program Management in escalated issues for intervention when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability to call on customers some evenings and Saturdays.

 

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
