My client is one of the leading wind turbine manufactures globally. They have installed more than 17,000 wind turbines, with a power generating capacity exceeding 24 GW

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be a Senior Authorised Person and will have experience working with HV switching systems. You will be responsible for developing a HV switching procedure that other employees can follow. You will also be responsible for supervising and training of employees to ensure that the procedures are followed correctly.

Responsibilities:-
- Develop a High Voltage switching procedure 
- Responsible for high voltage grids in wind farms
- Training of authorised switching employees
- Coordination of all HV switching operation
- Design and develop a safety plan
- Supervising of staff

Education:
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or hold a relevant qualification.

Core Requirements:
- Senior Authorised Person (SAP)
- A minimum of 2 years work experience with HV switching systems
- Experience working in a supervisory role
- Experience in designing training packages
- Understanding of relative HSE requirements

General Requirements:-
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Valid and clean driving license 
- Proven managerial ability
- Excellent IT skill
