Electrical Engineer, Bath, £30K-£40K + bonus

My client is an internationally recognized renewable energy consultancy company who provides a wide range of technical, environmental and management consultants across a number of industries. They are currently making a big impact in the UK and are looking at expand this team.

Position Overview:

They are currently looking for an electrical engineer to assist with the provision of grid connection and electrical engineering services for renewable energy generation projects. You will report directly to the Senior electrical engineer.

Responsibilities:

• ·         You will provide consultancy services to a wide range of clients aiming to ensure the company growth and status as a leading renewable energy consultancy company
• ·         You will work on the development and delivery of renewable energy projects with a focus on grid connection services in the renewable energy sector
• ·         You will work closely with the rest of your team ensuring the successful connection of renewable energy projects to the grid across the UK
• ·         Travelling to a variety of renewable energy sites providing expert electrical advice and services to companies that have completed or are near completion of renewable energy projects
• ·         You will work on grid connections of renewable energy generators
• ·         You will provide consultancy services on power systems analysis to small and large scale renewable energy companies

Education:

Degree or HND Qualified in Electrical Engineering

Core Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience in the renewable energy sector
• Strong experience with the grid connection of renewable energy generators
• Experience with power systems analysis
• You will have strong experience working within a renewable energy consultancy role
• Ability to travel with the UK

Desirable Attributes

• ·         Excellent communication and report writing skills
• ·         Knowledge of any electricity regulatory issues that may arise within the UK market
• ·         A strong desire to work to the highest quality and standards in order to maintain the reputation of the company
