Electrical Engineer. Newcastle, UK

My client is one of the largest global developers with an outstanding reputation for excellence. They develop, construct and operate large scale offshore wind farms.

Position Overview:

Working closely supervised amongst an existing team of experienced electrical engineers to provide technical and design input assisting with wind farm development.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Produce drafts of quality technical specifications
• ·         Carrying out technical studies
• ·         Produce drafts of quality technical studies
• ·         Other tasks outlined by team

Education:

• Strong degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering

Core Requirements:-

• ·         Ability to work independently towards strict deadlines
• ·         Numerically sound

• Proficient user of Microsoft applications
• Relevant offshore wind experience

General Requirements:-

• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• ·         Electrical system modelling software
