Find a job you’re wild about at the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), the nation’s largest member-supported conservation organization, which is at the forefront of global warming issues, reconnecting our children with nature, and protecting America’s wildlife and habitat.
We seek an Education Outreach Coordinator to drive NWF’s Habitats Program related outreach, as well as wildlife gardening and habitat restoration and education efforts. The position includes representing NWF’s Rocky Mountain Natural Resource Center (RMNRC) in collaborative projects, executing specific projects, volunteer management and ongoing general administration tasks. It requires a mix of self-directed work in addition supporting activities with the RMNRC office, Habitats Program and Volunteer Program Teams.
This position is part-time with benefits through August and has the potential to go to full-time beginning in September (contingent upon ongoing funding).

Education:
Must have B.A. or B.S. degree. Background in environmental/natural resource education or related field preferred.
Required Skills:
Three years of work experience, preferably in a non-profit environment required. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; proven presentation skills; able to work independently and cooperatively; Detail oriented, capacity for multi-tasking; good time management skills; ability to meet deadlines; working knowledge with PCs, database programs and functions, word processing programs, and GroupWise (preferred – working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge)
