FSC is an educational charity that delivers its mission of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All’ via its network of Field Centres throughout the United Kingdom.  We currently have a vacancy for an Education Assistant at our residential Centre at Dale Fort in Pembrokeshire.

The post primarily involves supporting teaching staff in the delivery of field courses and environmental activities, along with a range of other residential and domestic duties essential to the smooth running of the Learning Location. 

The post holder must be enthusiastic about the environment and be keen to have a role in helping others enjoy activities in the outdoors and to help them understand and respect their natural surroundings. The post will best suit someone who shows initiative during the course of their employment to identify and prioritise tasks amongst the many that need to be carried out. 

This is a fixed term appointment until 31st August 2013.

The salary is offered at £12,875 per annum, based on 40 hours per week.

Live-in accommodation may be available with this post. If resident at the Centre, there will be a deduction for accommodation.
