AECOM's Design + Planning practice offers a holistic approach to guide responsible and productive use of the land. Our practice includes design, master planning, environmental and ecological planning, strategic planning and economic development. We integrate these areas of expertise on projects of all scales and contexts. Some of our clients are private developers creating communities or world-class destinations. Others are national and local governments seeking to manage their natural and cultural resources. Others are agencies empowered to create amenities like parks or to regenerate communities, cities, regions.
Responsibilities:
- Client management and project management
- Overseeing preparation and quality control of all work products prepared under his or her direction
- Budgeting and scheduling
- Supervising research, data analysis, report writing and preparation of presentation
- Directing subordinates and determining staffing needs
- Business development for current and prospective clients
- Coordinating with sub-consultants and other disciplines
- Frequent travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree Environmental / Water Resources Planning or engineering, or other related disciplines.
- 6 to 8 years’ relevant experience in the environmental planning sector.
- Candidates with proven project management and business development ability will be highly regarded.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Strong communication and coaching skills are essential qualities to successfully work on our teams with diverse disciplines and cultures.
