A great opportunity to become a key part of a growing ecology team within a growing company.
We are looking for an experienced professional ecologist who will be based at our Leeds office. Working in a friendly and professional environment you will undertake ecological work to a high standard, primarily focussing on:
Protected species survey and monitoring;
Phase 1 Habitat surveys; and
Reporting of surveys and ecology chapters of EcIAs
and, desirable skills include:
Technical review of ecology chapters;
Project management and proposal writing; and
Line management.
You will join an existing team of 8 ecologists; supported by the Senior Ecologists based in Leeds and Oxford you will be encouraged to develop a key area of interest in an ecology-related field. The successful candidate would also have the opportunity to engage in ecological work overseas if this is of interest.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in applied ecology; a proven track record of quality ecological survey work and project delivery is essential, as is full membership of IEEM.
