RPS is one of Australia’s most experienced providers of specialist environmental services for the management of oil and gas exploration and production, resource and mining projects, infrastructure development, and urban growth projects.

Due to our impressive growth, we now have an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and motivated Ecologist to work as a Consultant in our Energy and Resources Environmental team in our brand new offices in the vibrant suburb of Subiaco.

Ideally, you will have at least seven years consulting experience with expertise in either marine, coastal and/or terrestrial ecology and also experience in the delivery of field programs, associated with the oil gas industry and/or resources industry.

We need you to think and perform strategically, with a proven capacity to lead large scale projects.

Your knowledge of current industry standards, practices, technical advances in environmental monitoring, environmental legislation and approval processes will compliment your negotiation skills.

You will take a lead role with our field ecology team and should have experience with team management.

You will be supported by a team of experienced professionals.

You will gain exposure to a diverse range of ecological projects including coral, macroalgae, seagrass, fish, marine turtles, avifauna, marine megafauna, water and sediment quality, dredge monitoring, vegetation, terrestrial mammals, invertebrates.
