The Role:

An exciting and challenging opportunity awaits a self-motivated, organised and flexible individual to work within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy. You will work on a range of ecological projects across the UK, requiring a mixture of field and office-based skills.

You will be expected to work closely alongside your colleagues in order to ensure tasks are undertaken on time and to a consistently high standard. The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Ecologist Specification:

• Established professional Ecologist, with at least 2 years ecological consultancy experience.
• Holds a Natural England bat survey class license.
• Accomplished in the completion of Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and reports.
• Professional survey experience in the following areas:

1. Great crested newts
2. Badgers
3. Reptiles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project delivery and project management skills.
• CIEEM Graduate / Associate membership.
• A positive outlook and strong desire to succeed in your chosen profession.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
