Due to a continued growth in project work, Ecology Solutions has an opportunity for an Ecologist or Assistant Ecologist to join our dynamic team in our Hertfordshire office, assisting senior staff in the day to day running of our projects.

Ecology Solutions is a leading consultancy specialising in ecology planning solutions and offering an extensive range of expertise, providing services to numerous and diverse high-profile clients within both the public and private sectors.

Working in a fast-paced environment, the remit of the role is exceptionally wide ranging, and will include carrying out ecological surveys, supervising ecological aspects of site work, and assisting with the production of reports.  Previous consultancy experience is required for the Ecologist role but is not necessary for the Assistant Ecologist position.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in ornithological identification, but experience conducting wildlife surveys and botanical identification is also advantageous.

The position will include working on site, but otherwise can be either office based or hybrid working. Given the location of our projects, a full driving licence will be required.
