Multi Billion Dollar Global Trading Company are looking for an experienced Carbon Downstream Originator for their London office.
A commercial Carbon professional with experience in downstream co2 activity in EU ETS compliance markets is required for a billion dollar global trading company.
The role will also be responsible for sourcing secondary CER / ERU products from appropriate sources. A key aspect of the role will be originated vanilla and structured deals, and leading the negotiation of purchase contracts.
There will be a focus on Central Eastern European Markets, so fluency in German, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian or Hungarian is a distinct advantage, but other languages also welcome as the team will also be looking to strengthen expertise across other areas.
You must have sound experience in the energy / carbon markets, and have a strong track record in negotiating and deal making.
London based with extensive travel.
