The International Crane Foundation invites applications for the position of Donor Relations Manager. Background: The International Crane Foundation (ICF) works worldwide to conserve cranes and the wetland, grassland and other ecosystems on which they depend. Under the flagship of these celebrated, charismatic birds, ICF brings diverse people and nations together to solve problems of significance for wildlife and humans. ICF’s conservation activities include protecting important crane habitats by establishing or strengthening protected areas, securing freshwater inflows through sustainable water management to maintain healthy wetlands, restoring damaged ecosystems, reintroducing rare crane populations, linking poverty alleviation with conservation, and working with local landowners and communities to solve issues such as crop damage. With programs in over 20 countries, ICF’s world headquarters is in Baraboo, Wisconsin where educational programs feature live bird displays for all 15 species of cranes. • Three years experience working in development or a related field • Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to work occasional long hours, over weekends and with travel Applications should be sent electronically to Barbara Chickering , Administrative Assistant.
