My client in a European market leader in developing and financing wind farms. They have developed over 25 wind farms in Germany alone and have many more in the pipeline. They are also involved in the operational management of the wind farms once developed and are looking at expanding this team in Germany.
Position Overview:
My client is after a Division Leader Technical Operational Manager to oversee the technical operations and management division of wind turbines. They will be responsible for monitoring appropriate checks within this department.
Responsibilities:
- · You will be responsible for leading a division that deal with technical operations and management of wind turbines
- · You will manage all remote control turbine check invoices, expert studies and warranties of wind farms for clients or the company
- · Your team will consist of 12 employees and 3 specialist engineers who you will manage on a day to day basis
- · This position will involve liaising with clients and working closely with other major players within the wind sector giving you an opportunity to gain contacts in the market
- · Your background in engineering will give you an excellent ability to explain technical issues to the clients
- · As head of this team you will be responsible for making on the job decisions and leading your team in the decision making process
- · You will be required to utilise and expand your problem solving skills relating to the operations and management of wind turbines.
Education:
You will have a strong engineering background
Core Requirements:
- · At least 3-7 years working in the Wind energy market with experience in wind farm operations and management
- · You will have demonstrated practical engineering experience within the wind sector
- · Experience working with and liaising with a variety of clients and investors involved in the projects
- · 2-4 years working in a senior management position preferably within the renewable energy sector
- · You will have a strong level of ambition in a desire to progress within the role
- · A strong background in engineering with an excellent technical background
- · You need to have an excellent attention to detail

- · Fluent in Germans(written and verbal) with English a plus
