The Amsterdam Global Change Institute (AGCI) is a strongly motivated and integrated group of researchers, uniting departments and institutes from the Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Economics of VU University Amsterdam.
Research community
The AGCI Steering Committee represents all participants. Next to facilitating an adequate administrative structure, it initiates a good networking structure in which involved experts can reach each other easily and cooperate creatively.

AGCI will builds on a strong research community with a wide-ranging scientific scope. By being a highly visible and competitive player in the global arena of international research networks, AGCI strives to influence societal and research agendas.
