The Director of Philanthropy will effectively identify and manage a major gift portfolio and establish a major prospect solicitation pipeline with an emphasis on the West Coast. Charged with building a greater presence in the West Coast as a whole, the Director will initiate and strengthen relationships with major and principal gift prospects and successfully close gifts of five to seven figures. The primary responsibility will be to create and implement a strategy to expand IFAW’s donor base, including individuals and institutions, with a particular focus on identifying and cultivating the next generation of major donors.
