Director of Marketing and Development

Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences seeks a Director of Marketing and Development to lead its expanding development, communications and marketing department. Manomet is a science-based, solutions-oriented non-profit with a mission to conserve and sustain natural resources for the benefit of wildlife and humans. Programs reach across the U.S. and Americas from our base in New England.

The Director of Marketing & Development is a new position to meet the needs of our growing institution. The Director will focus on creating and leading donor-oriented campaigns for special projects and expanding Manomet’s general support from individuals, based on our current strong donor base. Annual development goal
$2-3 Million. Oversees staff of 3 – 4, is a member of staff leadership team, works closely with trustees.

Proven leadership of successful donor-based fund-raising and 7 – 15 year track record in creative campaign development, major gift solicitation, strategic communications and management are essential. Substantial knowledge of environmental/sustainability issues required.

Manomet is located on Cape Cod Bay in Plymouth, MA. Salary commensurate with experience, strong benefits package. Willingness to travel required. Equal Opportunity Employer.
