Director of Conservation Programs Ducks Unlimited’s Great Plains Region is seeking an accomplished and driven individual to lead our exciting conservation programs across the U.S. Prairie Pothole Region (PPR) in the Dakotas and Montana. These programs are some of our highest priorities in North America and will be a center piece of our new comprehensive campaign. This position provides the opportunity for leadership to both DU and the entire waterfowl enterprise. The director will serve as a member of the regional management team to provide strategic thinking and lead targeted implementation to help achieve conservation objectives. The director will also advise the conservation leadership team on national conservation issues and priority policy efforts. The director will provide leadership to help guide the collective conservation and fundraising work of various stakeholders (e.g., DU volunteers, state and federal agencies, joint ventures and conservation organizations) across the Great Plains Region.

This position reports to the Director of Operations for the Great Plains Region. The director of conservation programs must work out of the Great Plains Regional Office in Bismarck, North Dakota.
