Director, Marketing & Technical Services World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Director to oversee the information systems of its Marketing and Development departments. The Director is responsible for developing all IT membership and development technical related strategies, support agreements and approaches with vendors and staff, policies, procedures, and tactical plans necessary to provide IT best practice solutions in support of WWF’s marketing, membership, and development business practices. The position serves as the lead IT resource for all information flow into and out of the organization’s donor management CRM system. S/He is responsible for database updates, extract processes, hardware/software maintenance, global design, and data integrity of all systems that interact with the Team Approach CRM system.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required. A minimum of 10 years computer applications, systems experience, including managing large/complex databases with diverse user needs, internal/external customer service required. Programming skills in 3GL, 4GL languages, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, experience in Unix and/or Windows 2000+ server environments, proficiency with database systems and design methodologies required. Working knowledge of business intelligence tools, analytics and data import/export tools such as SAS, Oracle Discover, or like tools from Business Objects, Microstrategy is also required. 5 years experience managing software developers, database administrators and vendors is highly desired. Demonstrated supervisory capability including strong organizational skills, ability to delegate technical work, and oversee quality of technical products developed is a must.
